Flat Tire Fiasco
I was on the way to meet a client at a local market agency (a very important meeting) when my tired went flat! Luckily I headed out an hour early to be on time. I was able to switch cars, and worry about the issue after the meeting. Fixing a tire is usually pretty easy! I've done it three times before. Easy if you have the proper tools that is. I ended up using the scissor style tire jack that comes with the car. After hoisting it up a foot or so, the jack crumpled into a bent piece of rubbish. An hour later, I purchased another which claimed to hold 2 tons, and IT collapsed in the same way! And just saying...A vehicle that falls off a jack can be very dangerous as it comes crashing down. Luckily I wasn't underneath. So, Now I have 4+ hours invested into this fiasco. With scarce resources, I ended up borrowing two jacks from our family vehicles to lift the vehicle up all at once. To wrap the story 8 hours later, I discovered 3 nails in the front tire, and 2 in the back tire which I removed and patched. What a day!
