What about the moon?
With her lunar beams
That contrast against the deep night
Even though she is subtle,
The pale moon is more brilliant than the sun
Whose brightness is so vivid,
And blasts itself into the sky
So that everyone can see its a radiance
The luminous crescent is more intruiguing
But she is carefully hidden
And can only be seen if one takes the time
She is mysterious, and gentle
Seen only in glimpses
Unlike the blazing sun
That's whole sol is put out in the open
The moon may seem lonely,
without all the attention
But her existence is fulfilling
For her starry family stays true
And she enjoys standing out
Instead of blending in
